Early days to now
Daniel Vistar started way back in the 90’s running a small recording studio (OPM Studios) designed to help upcoming bands and musicians.
As an audio engineer, music composer and producer, Daniel recorded hundreds of local, national and even international artists. He worked with local indie rock band Custard, Tim Finn from Split Enz and Crowded House as well as a very young, long haired, Osher Gunsberg (aka Andrew G).
After many years in the studio, Daniel decided to expand the business to include video production and photography, thus Vistar Productions was born.
Focusing on creating and capturing the clients vision. Vistar Productions started out purely as a music videography service, then quickly expanded to include wedding films and eventually promotional videos.
Daniel's passion to explore new avenues to the creative world has lead him to become on of the most respected creators in Brisbane.

Our main camera is the Netflix approved Lumix S1H in 4k and sometimes 6k. We also use the Blackmagic pocket cinema 4k as a B cam or even the ever popular Lumix GH5. We have an extensive lens list from top brands like Voigtlander, Lumix, Sony and Sigma
For steady shots we have the Ronin S and MX gimbals plus tripods and monopods depending on the situation.
Plus all the other accessories to making a creative video like Aperture Led lighting, portable green screen, sliders and a jib crane. As well as lapel mics and shotgun mics from Rode
Music
We source our royalty free music from online sites Audiio and Musicbed to compliment your videos
Should you want something totally original, we also compose our own music
